It has taken me a long time to get around to writing this review. I’ve been patiently waiting until we got this new blog setup in order to gush about how amazing this gig was. To start with, it was my first real trip to Paris which in itself was incredible but made even better by this gig.
The gig was held at La Maroquinerie, which was a beautiful venue. I didn’t know what to expect when I went down as neither me or any of the people I went with had ever been to the venue before. But, as he had been playing Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London I expected it to be fairly big. I was totally wrong, it was tiny and stunning; I think there were probably about 150 people in the room with us and I’m sure they’d all agree it was one of the best nights ever.
